Diocesan Prayer 2025
Loving Father, as we come to the start of the new Triennium, we pray for all those who have taken office as National and International Trustees, for those who have become Trustees in our Diocese of Oxford and all those who have taken office as Branch Leaders and Officials. We pray for all our members in branches and diocesan members that we may become’ Stronger Together’. We pray for all our projects - nationally ‘Rise up against Domestic Violence’; in our Diocese supporting Children Heard & Seen, Baby Basics and Ronald Macdonald House. We pray for all projects and activities that are being carried out at branch level to support the community groups who care for those who are struggling in so many ways.
Bless us all as we work to show the love of Jesus to all with whom we come into contact and enable us to reflect your glory in all that we do. AMENClick here for a printable version

The Mothers' Union Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank you for your love so freely given to us all. We pray for families around the world. Bless the work of the Mothers' Union as we seek to share your love through the encouragement, strengthening and support of marriage and family life. Empowered by your Spirit, may we be united in prayer and worship, and in love and service reach out as your hands across the world. In Jesus' name. Amen

Baby Basics Prayer
A Prayer for Baby Basics Milton Keynes. Printable prayer cards can be found under Projects here.
Heavenly Father, your infant Son was born in a stable then fled into exile with his parents, faced with an uncertain future. Yet He was sent by you as a gift of Love to share with the world; a gift carried forward by Baby Basics today. We give thanks for everyone involved in Baby Basics, for the work they do, for the care and support they give and the generosity shown by so many who support their endeavours. We pray too for the families who seek their help and ask for your blessing on them as their children grow. We ask this knowing that you care for each and everyone of us. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer. Amen
